We’d really like to see a GDPR cookie banner added to Linkie as a priority feature. This would help avoid potential legal issues.

Quick question, would a simple Cookies Preference and Privacy links be okay for GDPR compliance?

Hi , yes something similar like Linktree is doing. Essential cookies. Functional cookies, etc. – see the screenshot from Linktree! Think also of how you have done it on Publers mainpage. As I am not a laywer you must know best how to provide the full best GDPR compliance.

We will have to think this more thorougly as a big cookie banner that covers ~ 1/4 of the screen on mobile devices may have a negative impact.

On the other hand, a link in the footer with analytics cookies disabled by default will prevent us from gathering insights for visitors, thus make our analytics feature obsolete.
